How to buy the token directly in Telegram: a step-by-step guide

The process takes about 15 minutes. You'll manage just fine even if you've never done anything like this before — it's no more complicated than using your regular banking app.

Key terms explained:

TON — this is the main currency in Telegram. Think of it as dollars that we need to buy first, in order to then exchange them for our $AUM token.

Wallet (@wallet) — this is an app inside Telegram where your funds are stored. Think of it as a banking app.

TON Space — this is your personal vault inside Wallet. This is what you need to buy $AUM.

Swap — simply exchanging one coin for another.

Step 1. Set up your wallet

Before buying, let's prepare a place to store your tokens.

Open Wallet

Tap the "TON" toggle at the top

Tap the "Create" (or "Get Started") button

One very important point: safety first

You'll be asked to save a 24-word seed phrase:

Get a pen and paper

Write down the words in order

Store the note somewhere safe with your documents

❌ DO NOT take a screenshot

If your phone is hacked or lost, these words written on paper are the only way to recover access to your funds. Customer support won't be able to help you with this.

Step 2. Buy coins (the "Crypto" tab)

Your wallet is ready. Now let's buy the "fuel" — TON coins. We'll do this through the P2P market. Don't let the name intimidate you — it's safe. Telegram acts as the guarantor: the seller won't receive your money until they've transferred the crypto to you.

Tap the "Crypto" toggle at the top (on the left)

Tap the "Add funds" button (the plus icon) → select "P2P Market"

Tap the "Buy" button

In the filters at the top, select:

Preferred currency
Crypto: TON
Payment: your bank

Choose a seller with a high number of completed trades and tap "Buy." Enter the amount and place your order.

How to pay: You'll be shown the seller's card number. Open your banking app, transfer the exact amount, then return to Telegram and tap "Payment sent." Make sure to read any additional instructions in the comments — the seller may ask you to send a payment receipt or include a specific note with the transfer. Within a couple of minutes, the coins will appear in your balance under the "Crypto" tab.

Step 3. Move your funds into the vault (from "Crypto" to "TON")

This is the step most people forget! You've bought TON, but it's sitting in a "shared account" — the exchange can't see it yet. You need to move it into your personal vault.

Make sure you're on the "Crypto" tab (top left)

Tap the "Transfer" button (the arrows or paper plane icon)

Select "To my TON wallet" (or "To TON Space balance")

Purpose of this action: moving funds from the left tab to the right tab.

Tap "Maximum" (to transfer everything you bought). Confirm the transfer.

Now switch the toggle at the top to "TON." Is your balance showing there? Perfect — you're ready to buy the token.

Step 4. Buy $AUM on Ston.fi

Now the magic begins. We're heading to the exchange.

(Using the direct link protects you from errors when searching manually)

Tap the blue "Connect Wallet" button. Select "Wallet in Telegram"

Telegram will ask for permission — tap "Connect" You'll now see the swap interface.

Top field: TON (you're sending).
Bottom field: AUM (you're receiving).

Enter the amount of TON

In the "You receive" field, select the $AUM token (just type these letters in the search field)

⚠️ THE #1 BEGINNER MISTAKE:
Never tap the MAX button!

Always keep approximately 0.3–0.5 TON in your balance. Why? The blockchain charges a small fee for processing transactions (think of it like a bus fare). If you try to swap every last coin, you'll have nothing left to pay the "fare" and the transaction will return an error.

Tap the "Swap" button

You'll be redirected to Wallet for confirmation — tap the blue "Confirm" button

Step 5. Where are my tokens?

To see the $AUM tokens you purchased:

Open Wallet

Make sure to switch to the "TON" tab (top right). Your tokens will be there.
